Phil Liu

Founder & CEO

A pioneer of innovative technologies, Phillip Liu is Trustero’s Chief Executive Officer. He is instrumental in forging Trustero’s vision and creating Compliance AI software that is changing how businesses will approach SOC 2 and other compliance audits.

Until an acquisition by Splunk, Phillip served as CTO and co-founder of SignalFx. He also has tenure as a software architect at Facebook, where he led the development of Facebook’s Infrastructure as a Service platform and several key, web-scale application management solutions.

Phillip was named a Distinguished Technologist at Hewlett Packard and served as Chief Architect at Opsware, now sold as HP Server Automation software. He is an expert in distributed systems and has led development teams at Marimba, TCSI, and TRW Financial Systems.

George Totev

CISO

George Totev is an experienced and innovative leader with a passion for Information Security, Compliance and Risk Management. He has more than 25 years of experience in the software and financial industries, creating and leading various functional groups.

George is the CISO for Trustero, a Palo Alto, CA company building advanced AI solutions for GRC. Trustero AI automates governance, risk, and compliance functions such as compliance audits, security questionnaires, tailored remediation guidance, and third-party risk evaluations. Trustero is the first to bring generative AI into the GRC space, enabling organizations to achieve and maintain compliance with unmatched speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

Before Trustero George was Director of Customer Trust at Snowflake and Head of Risk and Compliance at Atlassian where he built and scaled the function. George also ran various security and GRC functions at Visa, Goldman Sachs, Symantec, and The World Bank. George is a board member of the Bay Area CISO council, participates in various professional organizations, and advises companies on Security, Risk, and Compliance matters.

Neil Stratz

VP of Sales

Neil Stratz is an experienced go-to-market executive with deep expertise in scaling revenue operations and driving customer success. As Trustero’s VP of Sales, Neil leads the company’s sales, partnerships and customer success initiatives, ensuring predictable and sustainable growth.

Neil brings to Trustero over 25 years of experience in building and leading high-performance sales teams serving enterprise clients in the security, cloud, and data analytics markets. Previously, Neil lead go-to-market efforts at SafeBreach, Webroot (now OpenText), Proofpoint, and Juniper Networks.  Earlier in his career, he successfully led sales and technical sales teams at Wily Technology/CA (now Broadcom), Brio Technology (now Oracle), and Informix Software (now IBM).

Neil’s experience in go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement positions Trustero for continued success in delivering best-in-class compliance solutions.

David Marsyla

VP of Engineering

David Marsyla is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in building and scaling innovative software solutions. As Trustero’s Chief Technology Officer, David drives the company’s technical vision, ensuring that its compliance solutions are cutting-edge, scalable, and impactful.

Before Trustero, David co-founded DeviceAnywhere, a pioneering mobile testing and monitoring platform, leading its technology strategy until its acquisition. He then served as Chief Technology Officer at CarePredict, where he focused on predictive analytics solutions to improve senior care through real-time monitoring and AI-driven insights.

David’s expertise spans distributed systems, mobile platforms, and predictive technologies. His leadership ensures that Trustero remains at the forefront of compliance innovation, helping businesses navigate complex regulatory landscapes with ease.
